Course

The Australian Academy of English Studies caters for bookings with a minimum of 15 participants per group. We welcome enquiries from all groups wishing to learn more about Australia, the English language, Australian culture, and/or the Australian education system. These intensive courses are designed for one, two or three weeks, with learning experiences conducted in both formal and informal settings. Tutorials and field trips will be the key components of this course. In tutorials, specialised staff members focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing using standardised English. These tutorials are designed to be fun, motivating and interesting, and include creative arts and various games and activities for developing your English communication skills.

Field trips include travelling to the Byron Bay area, the Tweed Valley and the Gold Coast. You will have the opportunity to cuddle a koala, feed kangaroos, observe other native fauna and flora, shop near famous Surfers’ Paradise, and visit spectacular Australian beaches. English language and conversational English will continue to be the focus at all of these locations. You will be placed with a very suitable Australian family, who will also assist to develop your English language skills and enhance your understanding of the Australian culture. At the conclusion of the course, and on the successful completion of all tasks, you will be presented with a certificate from The Australian Academy of English Studies.
